Experience Matters
Jeremy Simmons, MPT, CFMT, is a physical therapist with advanced training in manual therapy, movement assessment, and functional rehabilitation. He earned the Certified Functional Manual Therapist (CFMT) credential with Honors through the Institute of Physical Art, a rigorous certification emphasizing the integration of skilled manual therapy, neuromuscular function, and movement. His approach looks beyond the location of pain to understand how mobility, strength, movement patterns, and the entire body contribute to a person’s ability to move and perform at their best.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has developed a diverse clinical background spanning orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, manual therapy, movement retraining, corrective exercise, strength development, balance, and functional performance. He also has extensive experience working with athletes at recreational, competitive, and professional levels, including professional golfers, professional baseball players, and competitive surfers. This breadth of experience allows him to apply the same principles of detailed assessment, movement efficiency, and performance used with high-level athletes to adults who simply want to move better, stay strong, remain independent, and continue enjoying the activities that matter to them.
